Job summary

NHG Health's CHILL Living Lab in Singapore seeks a Mechanical Engineer (Senior Executive) to design and prototype physical products that improve patient care and staff workflows. You will develop CAD models, evaluate materials, and align designs with medical device standards while collaborating with clinicians and vendors.

You will support prototyping, testing, and manufacturing readiness, manage documentation, and contribute to cross-functional projects across Tan Tock Seng Hospital and NHG

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years' experience as an engineer.
• Experience prototyping physical products.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and materials.
• Ability to work with external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Prototyping: develop CAD models and documentation using Rhino, Fusion 360, and Illustrator.
• Materials exploration and CMF considerations for prototype development.
• Prototype fabrication using 3D printing and machining.
• Ensure designs meet medical device standards and regulatory requirements.
• Operations & facilities support for CHILL activities.
• Vendor management and documentation throughout procurement.
• Support in concept development, testing, capability building, and showcasing CHILL work.
