Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking a Principal Engineer / Senior Software Engineer for the Industrial Automation sector in Singapore. You will design, develop, and test robust software using C++, C#, and WPF, interfacing with hardware and distributed I/O systems to collect sensor data and control actuators.

You will optimize performance with multithreading, memory management, and advanced Windows APIs, contributing to code reviews and collaborating with electrical and mechanical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial automation software using C++, C# & WPF.
• Experience with motion control cards and distributed I/O systems.
• Strong understanding of Windows API development and memory management techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of the C++ Standard Library and templates.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug industrial automation software using C++, C# & WPF.
• Interact with hardware via Windows API and hardware libraries.
• Program machine functionalities using motion control cards for precise movement.
• Integrate with distributed I/O systems to gather sensor data and control actuators.
• Implement robust communication protocols between software and hardware components.
• Utilize threading and synchronization for optimal performance.
• Manage memory using memory mapped files, mappings, and sections.
• Leverage STL and templates for code efficiency and reusability.
