Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial automation software using C++, C# and WPF.
• Proven experience with motion control cards and distributed I/O systems.
• Strong Windows API development and memory management knowledge.
• Experience with the C++ Standard Library and templates.
• Familiarity with Windows objects like events and mutexes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug industrial automation software using C++, C# and WPF.
• Interact with hardware components via Windows API and libraries.
• Program machine functionalities using motion control cards for precise movement.
• Integrate with distributed I/O systems to gather sensor data and control actuators.
• Implement robust communication protocols between software and hardware.
• Utilize threading techniques for optimal application performance.
• Apply advanced memory management and Windows memory mapping techniques.
• Leverage the C++ Standard Library and templates for optimization.
• Work with Windows objects like events and mutexes for synchronization.
• (Optional) Develop UI using WPF or WinUI for monitoring/control.
• Write well-documented, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
