U3 INFOTECH PTE. LTD. is seeking a Principal Engineer/Senior Software Engineer for industrial automation in Singapore. You will design, develop, and test robust automation software using C++ and C#, with WPF interfaces as applicable.

You will interface with hardware via Windows API, manage memory and threading for high performance, and collaborate with electrical/mechanical engineers to meet stringent specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
5+ years developing industrial automation software with C++/C# and WPF.
Experience with motion control cards and distributed I/O systems.
Strong knowledge of Windows API and memory management.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and debug robust industrial automation software.
Interact with hardware components via Windows API and libraries.
Program machine functionalities using motion control cards.
Integrate with distributed I/O systems for sensor data and actuators.
Implement robust data exchange protocols between software and hardware.
Utilize advanced threading and synchronization for performance.
Apply memory management techniques for efficient resources.
Leverage C++ STL and templates for optimization and reusability.
Write well-documented, maintainable code and collaborate with engineers.
Participate in code reviews and stay updated on automation tech.
