Job summary

Trust Recruit Pte Ltd invites a seasoned Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and optimize industrial automation software in a Woodland office. You will build robust C++/C#/WPF applications interfacing with hardware and distributed I/O systems.

The role demands strong knowledge of Windows APIs, memory management, STL, and threading, with experience in motion control and hardware integration. Collaboration with engineers and code reviews are essential for quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/SE.
• 5+ years of industrial automation software development with C++/C# & WPF.
• Experience with motion control cards and distributed I/O systems.
• Strong Windows API development and memory management knowledge.
• Proficiency with STL and templates; experience with Windows events and mutexes.
• GDI/GDI+ familiarity is a plus; Borland C++ Builder is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration with engineers and code review participation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug industrial automation software using C++, C#, and WPF.
• Interact with hardware via Windows API and libraries.
• Program machine functionalities using motion control cards for precise control.
• Integrate with distributed I/O systems to gather data and control actuators.
• Implement robust communication protocols between software and hardware.
• Utilize advanced threading and synchronization for performance.
• Apply memory management techniques including memory mapped files and sections.
• Leverage STL/templates for optimization and reusability.
• Work with Windows objects like events and mutexes for synchronization.
• Possibly develop user interfaces (WPF/Win UI) for monitoring/control.
