Job summary

HTX in Singapore seeks an ICT Systems Engineer to maintain operational readiness for Home Team ICT systems. You will monitor systems, manage vendors, refresh hardware/software, and implement security controls across projects.

The role requires a strong grasp of security practices and able to coordinate cross‑functional teams. Ideal candidates have a CS/IT/EEE degree and 3+ years in ICT operational environments, with familiarity in security tools and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Security Information and Event Management, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing and cloud security is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage existing systems to ensure availability and serviceability.
• Manage vendors to meet SLA compliance and take corrective actions.
• Refresh hardware and software of existing systems as projects.
• Identify, evaluate and propose cost-effective technical solutions.
• Plan and manage project progress and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Remediate cybersecurity audit findings and ensure government policy compliance.
• Implement and maintain ICT security measures as prescribed by policies.
• Operate ICT security and monitoring tools as required.
