Job summary

ASEAN Cableship Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior HR Executive/Assistant HR Manager to lead people capability, partnerships, ESG, and policy & event planning. You will collaborate with Directors of Departments to identify capability gaps and drive competency development across vessel and office teams.

Responsibilities include managing learning initiatives, coordinating partnerships with educational bodies, supporting ESG reporting, and organising annual HR events.

Qualifications

• Minimum Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications especially advanced in Excel (VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.
• A team player with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle any issue that arises effectively.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
• Good communication and engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Directors of Departments to identify capability gaps across office and vessel personnel.
• Monitor and maintain structured competency development plans for critical roles to support talent continuity and risk mitigation.
• Curate mandatory courses for online learning platform and seek relevant training providers and programmes.
• Partner with Department Directors to align learning initiatives with operational needs and market trends.
• Serve as a member/secretariat to the ESG Committee and support ESG initiatives across the organisation.
• Coordinate inputs to ESG reporting including people, training, capability development, and engagement metrics.
• Review and edit HR policies in accordance with Employment Act and Government Regulations.
• Organise annual HR events from planning and budgeting to vendor coordination and post-event review.
