Job summary

Thomson Medical in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR leader to join the Human Resource team as an HR Business Partner and generalist. You will oversee end-to-end HR operations, drive an optimal employee experience and support the business units with manpower and policy guidance.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resource, you will contribute to HR transformation initiatives, maintain compliant HR programs and effectively manage confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma with at least 10 years of HR generalist/HRBP experience.
• At least 5 years in a HR people management role.
• Passionate about people with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiar with budgeting and benefits administration like WICA claims.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end HR operations for the assigned BUs including recruitment and on-boarding/off-boarding.
• Partner Heads of Department to improve work relationships and retention.
• Provide HR consultancy on HR policies and interpretation.
• Work on performance management and budgeting processes.
• Facilitate employee relations and respond to grievances and conflicts.
• Manage benefits administration including workmen compensation and medical claims.
• Prepare headcount reports for annual employee insurance review and renewal.
• Support HR transformation initiatives and new system implementations.
• Review, develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures.
• Update employee profiles and benefits in HR systems.
• Undertake project/assignments as required.
