AIA SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a senior underwriter to assess high net worth and standard cases, ensuring timely decisions and effective collaboration with intermediaries and reinsurers. You will guide junior underwriters, review complex appeals, and support business development initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of underwriting experience, including HNW authority, and a track record of improving underwriting processes within a busy New Business team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree required.
• At least 10 years of underwriting experience in direct and reinsurance.
• Experience with high-net-worth products and high underwriting authority is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite large sum assured applications and communicate decisions within target turnaround time.
• Negotiate with reinsurers for favorable terms.
• Review complex appeals and coach underwriters on large sum assured cases.
• Liaise with reinsurers on referral cases beyond local authority.
• Resolve enquiries with channel management and communicate decisions to distribution.
• Support process improvements in New Business and assist Team Lead.
• Participate in Quality Assurance audits of cases.
• Foster risk-awareness culture and collaborate with second liner.
• Provide underwriting support for business development projects.
• Perform data or trend analysis when needed.
