Job summary

Energy Market Company seeks a Senior Security Analyst (Governance, Risk & Compliance) to oversee security programmes, controls, and regulatory alignment across the organisation. You will lead risk assessments, policy maintenance, and security governance while coordinating audits and remediation with internal teams and external providers.

The role reports to the VP, Technology (Security) and requires strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills to drive security

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS or equivalent.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity risk and controls management.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Good project management and multi-project experience.
• Strong collaboration, analytical and planning skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage security programmes and controls to ensure policy/regulatory compliance.
• Design and maintain preventative and detective security processes and governance measures.
• Update security policies, frameworks, standards; conduct staff training.
• Coordinate internal and external security audits; track remediation.
• Manage access governance including approvals and revocation.
• Maintain risk register; perform risk assessments; monitor mitigation.
• Conduct security risk assessments for new projects and initiatives.
• Manage security-related change controls for projects.
• Provide security guidance to project teams to meet requirements.
• Evaluate vendors' security solutions and controls.
• Support MSS and SOC in threat monitoring and service delivery.
• Oversee penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Triage security incidents and coordinate remediation.
