Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics in Singapore is seeking a Project/Operations Planning & Coordination specialist to manage end-to-end event logistics projects, interpret client requirements, and develop timelines and shipment plans.

You will coordinate air, ocean, and road freight, act as the main contact for clients and partners, monitor progress, handle deviations in real time, and support onsite move-in, marshalling, and move-out activities.

Qualifications

• Manage the full lifecycle of event logistics projects from enquiry to final reporting
• Interpret client requirements and translate them into quotations and operational plans
• Develop timelines, shipment plans, and resource allocation strategies
• Coordinate air, ocean, and road freight movements for event cargo
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, organisers, venues, and overseas partners
• Provide regular status updates, milestone tracking, and proactive issue resolution
• Attend client briefings, site visits, and project management and operational meetings
• Ensure timely booking of transport, customs clearance, and delivery to site
• Monitor shipment progress and manage deviations in real time
• Coordinate onsite logistics with the operational onsite team including move-in, marshalling, and move-out
• Liaise with global agents, carriers, transporters, and service providers
• Negotiate competitive rates in line with project budgets
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
