Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.

seeks an experienced GIS Specialist / GIS-Focused Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for enterprise geospatial platforms, guiding architecture design, cloud migration, upgrades, and security across the stack. You will manage geospatial data architectures, design cloud-native/hybrid GIS solutions on AWS or Azure, and collaborate with vendors to ensure reliable, scalable GIS services for the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise GIS projects throughout full lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise components (Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, ArcGIS Web Adaptor, ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcGIS Online).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for enterprise geospatial platforms and related systems.
• Support architecture design, cloud migration, system upgrades, infrastructure modernisation, and operational readiness activities.
• Plan and execute GIS platform upgrades, cloud migrations, system refreshes, disaster recovery exercises, and security initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and cybersecurity requirements.
• Design cloud-native and hybrid GIS architectures on AWS, Azure, GCC, or equivalent platforms.
• Design GIS integration patterns (REST APIs, web services, SFTP exchanges, authentication, IAM, SSO).
• Manage geospatial data architectures, metadata governance, and data lifecycle management.
• Conduct assessments, sizing, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting of complex issues.
• Collaborate with vendors to manage implementation, upgrades, support, and service delivery.
• Analyze requirements and develop scalable GIS solutions.
