Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced GIS Specialist / GIS-Focused Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for enterprise geospatial platforms.

You will oversee architecture, cloud migration, platform modernization, data governance, and security. The role requires hands-on GIS expertise with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, cloud/hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCC+), and strong stakeholder and vendor management skills to deliver reliable, scalable GIS services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Technical Lead or GIS Architect.
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise GIS projects across full lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise suite including Portal, Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor, Dashboards and ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCC+ cloud/hybrid environments.
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, SFTP, IAM, SSO and API security.
• Understanding Government security, compliance and governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for enterprise GIS platforms and related systems.
• Design and support cloud-native and hybrid GIS architectures across major cloud environments.
• Plan and execute GIS platform upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Evaluate technology aligned with government standards and secure-by-design principles.
• Design GIS integration patterns using REST APIs, web services, and identity management.
• Manage geospatial data architecture, metadata, governance and lifecycle management.
• Conduct architecture reviews, capacity sizing, troubleshooting, and technical assessments.
• Ensure production GIS platforms meet high availability, security, monitoring and performance targets.
• Manage vendors and service providers supporting GIS deployments.
• Translate business requirements into scalable GIS solutions and document designs.
