ARCHER DANIELS MIDLAND (ADM) SINGAPORE, PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced FX Originator to design and develop relationships with banks across the region, focusing on transit trade and import financing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in business/banking or finance (or similar).
• 8-10 years in financial institutions and/or corporate Finance, with structured trade finance exposure in the FX space ideally.
• Strong understanding of trade, FX market, central banks regulation as well as treasury activities.
• Risk Management mind-set that does accompany the development of new structure and new market.
• Strong experience in hedging market in Asia Pacific.
• Self-motivated, willingness to constantly innovate and seek new ways to support the activities of the group.
• Highly numerate and capable of grasping complex financial products & transactions.
• Ability to influence at different levels within (business units) and outside the organization.

Responsibilities

• Ability to analyze hedging transactions and leverage market opportunities to create new revenues.
• Excellent understanding of economics and FX regulatory aspects in targeted countries.
• Seek and develop new business activities and engage with ADM units and treasury group.
• Lead transactional activity from idea through implementation, including structuring and execution.
• Articulate risks to STF leadership and committees.
• Lead projects to successful implementation with strong interaction with support functions.
• Operate within STF and ADM guidelines and procedures.
• Develop new bank partnerships to bring added value to the Group.
