Job summary

Rhino Partners is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to own a portfolio of critical applications across modern and legacy stacks in Singapore. You will write, review and ship code, lead migrations and modernisation, and maintain production systems while guiding a small delivery team.

You’ll work with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to keep systems stable, secure and maintainable during migrations and retirements. Strong background in React, AWS and PostgreSQL is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on full stack software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Experience designing and developing backend APIs and services.
• Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Solid AWS, cloud-hosted apps and containerised deployments.
• Hands-on Docker and CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Observability and troubleshooting with CloudWatch, ECS or similar.
• Strong Git, code review and software quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of a portfolio of production applications across multiple languages and codebases.
• Design, develop, review and ship changes across frontend, backend, database and infrastructure layers.
• Lead migrations, modernisation and sunset of legacy systems.
• Maintain stability, security and performance of business-critical apps.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and investigate complex issues.
• Coordinate engineering work and mentor less experienced engineers.
