Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to maintain and enhance a portfolio of enterprise digital products in Singapore. This hands-on role spans frontend and backend work, ensuring stability, security, and maintainability of applications.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of hands-on Full Stack Software Engineering experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React.
• Experience developing and integrating backend APIs and services.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Comfortable working across multiple programming languages and existing codebases.
• Working knowledge of cloud-hosted applications and environments.
• Experience with Docker and containerised deployments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience troubleshooting applications through logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with AWS ECS, CloudWatch, and/or OpenTelemetry is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Git, code reviews, and engineering quality gates.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain frontend and backend applications across multiple codebases.
• Build and maintain applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, backend APIs, services, and relational databases.
• Write clean, secure, and production-ready code.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering quality gates.
• Maintain the stability and reliability of existing digital products and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues.
• Perform security patching, infrastructure upkeep, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor application health, logs, metrics, and system performance.
• Support migrations, upgrades, and platform modernisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and delivery planning.
• Take ownership of application stability and quality.
