Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to maintain, support, and modernise enterprise web applications and systems. You will work across legacy and modern technologies, focusing on stability, security, and performance while coordinating with operations and security teams.

Responsibilities include owning maintenance, implementing changes, addressing incidents, enabling monitoring and backups, and documenting systems.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 3-5 years experience in developing, maintaining and supporting enterprise systems.
Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Strong understanding of impact of changes on live systems in production.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of system maintenance, including change requests, bug fixes, performance improvements.
Maintain and enhance existing web applications with impact assessment.
Support production systems, including incident response and root cause analysis.
Work with operations teams to ensure monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery capabilities.
Ensure system security through fixes from security tests and vulnerability remediation.
Document existing systems and create knowledge transfer materials for legacy codebases.
Analyse dependencies and requirements to plan and implement modernisation roadmaps.
