Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to maintain, support, and modernise enterprise web applications. The role spans legacy and modern technologies, ensuring system stability, security, and performance while collaborating with operations and security teams.

You will own maintenance tasks, implement changes, handle incidents, and help plan modernisation roadmaps with API development, microservices, containerisation, and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in developing, maintaining and supporting enterprise systems.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Understand impact of changes on live production systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of system maintenance, including change requests and bug fixes.
• Maintain and enhance existing web applications with impact assessment for changes.
• Support production systems with incident response and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with operations teams on monitoring, backups and disaster recovery.
• Ensure system security through fixes from vulnerability testing and code review.
• Document existing systems and create knowledge transfer materials for legacy codebases.
• Analyse dependencies to plan and implement modernisation roadmaps.
