Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank is seeking a highly capable Full Stack Developer to design, build and deliver scalable software in an agile setting. You will collaborate with product owners, write test cases, and perform peer reviews to ensure robust, production-ready code across backend and frontend layers.

The role emphasizes hands-on development with Spring boot, React/Next/Angular, and modern CI/CD practices, while maintaining focus on regulatory compliance and quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Micro service API development using Java and Frontend frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Experience with API Integration with in-house and third-party systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development across Java backend and frontend using modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with product owners to develop user stories and test cases.
• Provide constructive design and code reviews in an agile environment.
• Contribute to standards & frameworks for the project and manage multiple projects.
• Ensure quality through SDLC lifecycle and testing practices.
