Job summary

HL Bank Singapore Co. is seeking a capable full stack developer to design, code and maintain features for in‑house web applications using C# / .NET on the back end and modern JavaScript frameworks on the front end.

You will debug, optimize, and refactor across the stack, write efficient T‑SQL queries for MS SQL Server, and implement REST APIs. A banking environment background and strong documentation discipline are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or related field required.
• Solid C# programming experience (≥5 years).
• Strong SQL Server expertise and T-SQL.
• REST API design and development.
• Frontend skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript; React/Angular/Vue.
• Experience in banking environment and SDLC/Agile.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and maintain features for existing web applications using C# / .NET on the backend and modern JavaScript frameworks on the frontend.
• Identify, debug, and resolve application bugs, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt across the code stack.
• Write efficient T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and DB migrations in MS SQL Server.
• Understand users’ requirements and translate them into application features.
• Write high quality source code to program enhancements.
• Perform unit and integration testing.
• Perform functional and non-functional testing.
• Respect the development standards and keep up with trends.
