Job summary

Luxoft Singapore is seeking an experienced software engineer to support enterprise application development for a financial services project. You will work across backend microservices, frontend applications, API development and cloud-native deployment.

You will design and implement Java-based solutions with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and React/Angular frontends, plus Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD with Jenkins, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on enterprise application development experience.
• Strong Java development background with Spring Boot and microservices.
• REST API design and integration expertise.
• Proficient in React frontend development and modern JS tooling.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins, Git), and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable Microservices and REST APIs.
• Develop frontend applications with Angular and React.
• Implement and support Micro Frontends (MFE).
• Integrate frontend with backend microservices and REST APIs.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment.

• Work with Kafka for event-driven integration.

About the Role: To support enterprise application development and enhancement activities for a financial services project, covering backend microservices, frontend applications, API development, integration and cloud-native deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance scalable Microservices-based applications and REST APIs.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular and React.
• Develop and support Micro Frontends (MFE) architecture where applicable.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend MicroServices and REST APIs.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Work with Kafka for event-driven integration and asynchronous communication.
• Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS and Azure.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting and production support.
• Participate in Agile development, code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of working experience
• Strong hands‑on experience in Java development.
