Job summary

Standard Chartered is enhancing its digital banking platform with a Web Engineer role focused on delivering user-centric web applications for staff and customers globally. You will work within agile squads to refine end-to-end solutions, align with product owners, and push for continuous delivery excellence.

Seeking a strong background in ReactJS, responsive UI design, and DevOps tools to build scalable digital banking experiences across channels.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of ReactJS and responsive UI principles.
• Experience with DevOps toolchain and modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to design, develop, test, and deploy maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Develop a new generation of Digital Banking apps for web and mobile, delivering quality user experiences.
• Work with squads to finalize end-to-end solutions and ship to digital channels.
• Participate in agile delivery with cross-functional teams including DevOps and testing.
• Promote adoption of modern software engineering practices and robust delivery pipelines.
