Job summary

Allport Cargo Services Logistics Pte Limited, part of DP World, is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to support import/export operations in Singapore. You will prepare shipping documents, liaise with officers, clients and agents, and ensure timely delivery with accurate Singapore Customs documentation.

The role requires a Diploma in Logistics or related discipline and 2–5 years of freight forwarding experience, with knowledge of import/export processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or related discipline is required.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Experience in freight forwarding industry preferred.
• Good knowledge of import/export processes and Singapore Customs documentation.
• Singapore Customs Competency Test for Declarants certification will be an added advantage.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing shipping documents and air-freight / sea-freight documentation
• Liaise between officers, agents and clients to ensure timely delivery arrangement
• Coordinate with permit declarants for The Custom's documentation
• Verifying vendors' invoices & agents' debit notes
• Arrangement of payments to co-loaders and carrier
• Keep track of orders and ensure payment terms are being adhere
• Deliver timely and exceptional internal/external customer service related to shipment status/coordination
• Declaration of daily cargo clearance/export permits through tradeweb
• Maintenance of permit records
