Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage fixed assets and related financial reporting in Singapore.

The role covers month-end close for fixed assets, asset capitalisation, disposals, depreciation, and governance of asset records. You will collaborate with the Shared Service Centre and auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance. The candidate should have at least a diploma in accounting with 5+ years of accounting experience, particularly in fixed

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with knowledge of fixed asset accounting and strong analytical skills.
• Experience in management reporting in medium/large organizations preferred.
• ERP systems experience, such as Microsoft Dynamics, would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the monthly sub-ledger closing of fixed assets, including coordination with the Shared Service Centre on asset capitalisation, disposal, write-offs, transfer, depreciation of assets and other accounting transactions.
• Prepare monthly audit schedules.
• Review and reconcile Fixed Asset register and movement reports to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies.
• Process capital expenditure requisitions and asset disposal documentation, monitor spending against approved budgets, and ensure proper record retention and governance.
• Ensure completeness and timeliness of fixed asset tagging.
• Support the annual fixed asset budgeting exercise by preparing budget templates, reviewing budget submission, computing depreciation forecast and consolidating budget data.
• Lead and coordinate in the annual stock take exercise of rental assets, including reconciliation and investigation of variances.
