Job summary

StaffkingPte Ltd is recruiting for Senior Fire Safety Manager to oversee Fire Safety Management, Facilities Operations, and incident response for government projects in Singapore. The role covers statutory duties, fire safety audits, and coordination with SCDF and Authority representatives.

The position requires relevant SFSM-eligible experience, strong coordination and emergency response skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across islandwide facilities.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Fire Safety Management and Facilities Operations.
• Eligible to be appointed as a Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM).
• Good knowledge of the Fire Safety Act, SCDF requirements and statutory compliance.
• Experience in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), building maintenance or engineering operations will be an advantage.
• Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to respond effectively during emergencies and manage multiple operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform statutory duties as the appointed Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM).
• Manage Fire Certificate renewal processes and ensure compliance with relevant fire safety regulations.
• Conduct fire risk assessments, fire safety audits and inspections.
• Plan and lead fire emergency preparedness exercises.
• Investigate fire incidents, false alarms and fire system failures.
• Liaise with SCDF, Authority representatives and relevant stakeholders on fire safety matters.
• Ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Act and SCDF requirements.
• Support Facilities Operations Managers in managing day-to-day facilities operations and IFM services.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Participate in maintenance planning and monitor contractor performance.
• Support fault response, emergency recovery and operational incident management.
• Review maintenance reports and technical submissions.
• Coordinate statutory inspections, certifications and compliance requirements.
• Participate in incident investigations and RCA.
• Support system health monitoring and equipment obsolescence reviews.
• Assist in mobilisation, transition and asset handover activities.
• Participate in operational meetings with Authority representatives.
• Serve as part of the emergency response leadership team.
• Coordinate responses to fire incidents, power outages, flooding, ACMV failures and other major operational incidents.
• Support the development and implementation of recovery plans.
• Prepare incident reports, management updates and presentations.
• Support Authority audits and compliance inspections.
• Conduct internal compliance checks and monitor corrective actions.
• Ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications, statutory requirements and operational procedures.
