Job summary

LANDMARK E&C PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Fire Safety Manager to oversee regulatory compliance under the Fire Safety Act, renew Fire Certificates, and coordinate SCDF audits.

You will conduct inspections, risk assessments, develop the ERP, lead drills, manage fire alarm and safety systems, investigate incidents, and support facilities operations with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid SCDF registration.
• Minimum 5 years in facilities management or building operations with leadership in fire safety systems.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and WSH standards.
• Excellent crisis management and Stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill duties as Senior Fire Safety Manager under the Fire Safety Act; manage Fire Certificate renewals and SCDF audits.

• Develop, implement and update the Emergency Response Plan (ERP); plan and lead fire drills and CERT exercises.

• Support general facilities operations, contractor performance monitoring, and safety standard alignment.

Job Responsibilities

• Fulfill legal duties as the designated Senior Fire Safety Manager under the Fire Safety Act, managing Fire Certificate renewals and SCDF regulatory audits.
• Conduct regular fire safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identifications (such as checking for blocked escape routes or compromised fire barriers).
• Develop, implement, and update the Emergency Response Plan (ERP). Plan and lead fire drills and table-top exercises for occupants and the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for fire alarm systems, hose reels, hydrants, and public address networks.
• Lead investigations into actual fires, system faults, or false alarms, performing root-cause analyses to prevent reoccurrence.
• Support general facilities operations, contractor performance monitoring, and safety standard alignment.

Job Requirements

• Valid registration recognized by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
• Minimum of 5 years of facilities management or building operations experience, with significant leadership in fire safety systems within commercial, healthcare, industrial, or campus environments.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and WSH standards, plus sound crisis management and stakeholder communication skills.
