Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Finance team in Singapore. You will support daily finance operations and advance reporting accuracy using Excel and Power Query-based solutions.

The role focuses on building automated reporting tools, maintaining cash flow and budgeting reports, and ensuring data integrity across finance processes. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data modelling techniques.
• Practical experience in building, maintaining, and troubleshooting Power Query solutions and data transformations.
• Working knowledge of SAP systems.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to quickly understand existing processes, work independently, and deliver results within tight timelines.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Finance, IT, and other business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot existing Power Query processes to ensure reports are refreshed accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare and maintain recurring financial and operational reports, including cash flow tracking, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
• Enhance and streamline existing Excel reports by improving formulas, reducing manual intervention, and optimising data structures.
• Develop new automated reporting tools, templates, and dashboards to support finance and business reporting requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of report logic, workflows, and refresh procedures to ensure seamless knowledge transfer upon contract completion.
• Investigate data inconsistencies, perform reconciliations, and resolve reporting issues to maintain data integrity.
• Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis, and financial support as required.
