Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a contract Reporting Specialist to maintain, run, and optimize Power Query reports and Excel-based templates. You will ensure timely data refresh, build automated reporting tools, and monitor cash flow and budgets for the 6-month engagement.

The role requires a Diploma in a related field, advanced Excel, Power Query expertise, and SAP knowledge. Based in East Singapore, standard working hours apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in finance, accounting, business, data, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Hands-on experience with Power Query — building, maintaining, and troubleshooting queries and data transformations.
• Working knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, run and troubleshoot existing Power Query jobs so that reports refresh reliably and on schedule.
• Prepare and maintain recurring financial and operational tracking reports, including cash flow and budget monitoring schedules.
• Optimise existing Excel reports to run faster and more efficiently — reducing manual steps, improving formulas, and restructuring data models where needed.
• Build new automated reporting functions and templates to support finance and business reporting needs.
• Document report logic and refresh procedures so that processes are repeatable and can be cleanly handed over at the end of the contract.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring reports are accurate and reconciled to source systems.
• Provide ad hoc data analysis and support as required.
