Job summary

Recruit Expert in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager who partners with business units to drive performance, set targets, and provide actionable insights for operational decisions. You will oversee finance operations, budgets, forecasting, reports for Board meetings, and liaise with auditors and regulators.

Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is essential, with experience in automation tools considered an advantage.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and administration, with budgeting, reporting, and audit coordination.
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; Power BI or automation tools are an advantage.
Strong communication and stakeholder management across units, auditors, and external partners.

Responsibilities

Partner with Business Unit Managers and Centre Supervisors to analyse business performance, set financial targets, and provide insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Oversee finance operations including review of payments, claims, and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls and approval processes.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities, including preparation of management reports and presentation materials for Board and business unit meetings.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely completion of audit, tax, ECDA requirements, and statutory reporting obligations.
Drive process improvement and system enhancement initiatives, including Power BI reporting, automation, and collaboration with vendors to strengthen efficiency, controls, and data integrity.
