Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior finance professional to oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations for two entities in Singapore.

You will manage full-set accounts, month-end closing, and ensure timely financial reporting, GST compliance, and corporate tax matters. You will lead a small finance team of two, drive process improvements, automate tasks, and provide financial insights to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including at least 5 years of experience in finance team management or supervision.
• Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounts, financial reporting, GST and Singapore corporate taxation.
• Proven experience in finance process improvement, including streamlining accounting workflows, improving internal controls, automating tasks or enhancing accounting systems.
• Experience overseeing multiple company entities and managing a small finance team.
• Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting operations and support management with financial reporting and analysis.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations for two company entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage full-set accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, GST regulations, corporate taxation and statutory reporting requirements.
• Handle GST submissions, corporate tax matters and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and relevant authorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing finance processes, streamline workflows and reduce manual accounting tasks.
• Implement process improvements, system enhancements and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervise and guide a small finance team of two staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances and provide financial insights to support management decisions.
• Work closely with management and other departments on financial and operational matters.
• Handle other finance-related responsibilities as required.
