Job summary

GMP Recruitment Services (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting/finance professional to support general ledger, fixed assets and inventory accounting in a manufacturing environment.

You will assist with audits, statutory reporting and internal controls while driving process improvements across Finance. A degree with 4–6 years' relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 4–6 years of relevant accounting/Finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/SFRS, SAP/ERP and Excel.
• Experience in inventory, audit and internal controls is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support General Ledger and financial reporting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end/year-end closing, financial schedules, budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including asset additions, capitalization, transfers, disposals, depreciation, CAPEX/CIP/WBS accounting, reconciliations and physical asset verification.
• Support inventory and consignment accounting, covering raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods and inventory movements, including stock reconciliation, valuation, provisions, stock takes and variance investigations.
• Assist with finance compliance, audits and internal controls, including GST and tax matters, audit schedules, statutory reporting, external surveys, documentation and strengthening finance procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements and finance projects by improving efficiency, accuracy and controls, while providing cross-coverage, knowledge sharing and support for ad-hoc assignments across Finance and other departments.
