Adecco Group, partnering with a Global Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Multinational Company, seeks an experienced finance professional for its Singapore entity. You will oversee financial management, consolidation, tax, treasury and HQ reporting, while coordinating with overseas subsidiaries.

The role emphasizes regional/group exposure, cross-border tax, and external audits, with leadership of the Finance & Accounting team and collaboration with HQ. Singapore-based, with global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant cost accounting and/or financial accounting experience.
• Fluency in Korean and Business English language, both written and spoken.
• Strong experience in full sets of accounts, financial reporting, financial closing, consolidation and group finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting for the Singapore entity with compliance to SFRS(I)/IFRS.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for holding company and overseas subsidiaries, including reporting packages to HQ.
• Monitor P&L of overseas subsidiaries and act as finance liaison between Singapore, regional entities and HQ.
• Oversee Singapore tax compliance includingCorporate Income Tax, GST, Withholding Tax and Transfer Pricing.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity and treasury activities including intercompany financing and capital management.
• Oversee shared services, intercompany transactions, service agreements, cost allocation and re-billing processes across group entities.
• Lead external audits, annual budgeting and financial planning with management reporting to HQ.
• Manage daily finance operations and supervise Finance & Accounting team.

The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with a Global Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Multinational Company and seeking an experienced finance professional to join its Singapore finance team.
• The successful candidate will oversee the financial management and accounting activities of the Singapore entity and overseas subsidiaries.
• This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to gain regional / group-level exposure, particularly in consolidation, subsidiary management, tax, treasury and HQ reporting.

The Job

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting for the Singapore entity, ensuring compliance with SFRS(I) and IFRS, including preparation of full sets of accounts and financial statements.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for the holding company and overseas subsidiaries, including quarterly and annual reporting packages to Korean Headquarters and necessary SFRS(I)/IFRS to K-IFRS adjustments.
• Monitor and review the financial performance and P&L of overseas subsidiaries, acting as a key finance liaison between Singapore, regional entities and Korean Headquarters.
• Oversee Singapore and cross-border tax compliance, including Corporate Income Tax, GST, Withholding Tax, Transfer Pricing and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity and treasury activities, including intercompany financing, fund procurement, capital management and dividend flows.
• Oversee shared services, intercompany transactions, service agreements, cost allocation and re-billing processes across group entities.
• Lead and coordinate external audits, annual budgeting and financial planning, while providing financial analysis and management reporting to senior management and HQ.
• Manage daily finance operations and provide guidance and supervision to the Finance & Accounting team.

The Talent

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant Cost Accounting and/or Financial Accounting experience.
• Fluency in Korean and Business English Language, both written and spoken, is mandatory, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with overseas subsidiaries and HQ.
• Strong experience in full sets of accounts, financial reporting, financial closing, consolidation and group finance, preferably with exposure to overseas subsidiaries.
• Experience in Singapore tax compliance, including Corporate Income Tax, GST, Withholding Tax and Transfer Pricing, with exposure to cross-border tax matters preferred.
• Exposure to treasury, cash flow management, intercompany financing and capital management would be an advantage.
• Experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment would be preferred.
