Triton AI Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a senior Country Finance Controller to lead the Singapore finance function. The role focuses on business partnering, financial planning, and performance management at country level.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning, while delivering timely insights to senior stakeholders and ensuring robust financial controls. This is a senior leadership position with exposure to audits, tax and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive finance experience, incl. country controlling or equivalent leadership.
• MNC manufacturing experience is mandatory.
• Strong finance business partnering with senior management and operations stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, taxation, audit and risk.
• Proficiency in SAP or comparable ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key finance business partner to the MD and senior stakeholders.
• Provide timely financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability, working capital and cash flow.
• Review pricing strategies, cost-reduction opportunities and investment proposals.
• Prepare short- and medium-term strategic plans with business leaders.
• Track business-plan performance and identify risks with corrective actions.
• Oversee month-end close and management/group reporting against timelines.
• Coordinate with Finance Shared Services Centre for timely submissions.
• Manage fixed assets, capex planning, inventory reconciliation and year-end stocktaking.
• Ensure timely corporate tax submissions and respond to tax queries.
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Lead, coach and develop finance team members.

We are assisting a well-established global manufacturing organisation in hiring a Country Finance Controller to lead its Singapore finance function. This is a senior, commercially focused position with significant exposure to business partnering, financial planning, performance management and country-level decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the key finance business partner to the Managing Director and senior stakeholders.

• Provide timely financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.

• Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and financial planning processes.

• Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability, working capital and cash flow performance.

• Review operational performance, pricing strategies, cost-reduction opportunities and investment proposals.

• Prepare short- and medium-term strategic plans in partnership with business leaders.

• Track business-plan performance, identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.

• Oversee month-end closing, management reporting and group reporting in accordance with corporate timelines.

• Work closely with the Finance Shared Services Centre to ensure accurate and timely financial submissions.

• Manage fixed assets, capital expenditure planning, inventory reconciliation and year-end stocktaking.

• Ensure timely completion of corporate tax submissions and address tax-related queries.

• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies, local regulations and corporate guidelines.

• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit recommendations are implemented promptly.

• Act as the country compliance officer and support government-related matters, incentive grants and other ad hoc projects.

• Lead, coach and develop finance team members.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.

• Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant, ACCA or equivalent is strongly preferred.

• Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible finance experience, including country controlling or financial leadership responsibilities.

• MNC manufacturing experience is mandatory.

• Strong finance business partnering experience is mandatory, with a proven ability to work closely with senior management and operational stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience across financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, taxation, audit and risk management.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business recommendations.

• Prior experience in a Big Four audit firm, followed by an MNC finance career, will be an advantage.

• Proficiency in SAP or a comparable ERP system.

• Proven people-management, coaching and team-development experience.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.

• Analytical, hands‑on and commercially minded, with the ability to balance strategic partnering and operational finance responsibilities.
