Job summary

Singapore National Eye Centre invites an experienced Manager, Facilities Development and Infrastructure to support SGH Phase 2 Development. The role involves coordinating with project consultants, government agencies, contractors, and internal stakeholders to review requirements and progress on delivery.

You will drive schematic planning, manage budgets for furniture and equipment, track procurement and handovers, and prepare meetings, minutes, and change requests to keep the project on schedule

Qualifications

• Degree / Honours Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in healthcare, biomedical, or pharmaceutical environments.
• Knowledge of stakeholder engagement, change management and project management for healthcare facilities.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to work independently or in teams.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with project consultants, government agencies, contractors and internal stakeholders to review requirements.
• Optimise schematic planning with awareness of inter- and intra-departmental relationships.
• Ensure stakeholders’ requirements are met in proposals and documents.
• Organise and facilitate discussions, formulate resolutions and obtain management concurrence.
• Develop furniture/equipment lists with stakeholders and monitor budgets/expenditure.
• Monitor procurement, relocation, installation and commissioning of furniture/equipment for timely progress.
• Facilitate inspections and room handovers, manage defects rectification works.
• Prepare presentation materials, meeting minutes and follow up on actions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders on design deviations and change requests.
• Maintain documentation and handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.
