Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Façade Lead to manage design coordination and delivery of façade works on construction projects. You will oversee façade drawings, technical interfaces, subcontractor coordination, and site execution to ensure work meets design, quality, safety, and project standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of curtain walls, glazing, aluminium cladding, and related building-envelope systems, plus proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Able to review drawings, identify design issues and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate façade detailing with architectural and other trades.
• Review specifications, drawings, shop drawings, and submissions.
• Identify design discrepancies, constructability issues, and interface conflicts before fabrication.
• Monitor façade production, delivery and installation per programme.
• Manage day-to-day façade construction activities, including manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and site resources.
• Coordinate with consultants, façade RTOs, QP representatives, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams on technical and site matters.
• Ensure façade installation follows approved method statements, risk assessments, safe work procedures, and applicable safety requirements.
• Conduct and coordinate inspections, monitor workmanship, and ensure defects and non-conformances are rectified promptly.
• Monitor productivity and site performance, investigate delays or underperformance, and implement appropriate recovery measures.
• Prepare daily records, weekly progress reports, and timely updates on façade production, installation, quality, and outstanding issues.
• Ensure façade works comply with project specifications, authority requirements, building regulations, and relevant CONQUAS quality standards.

About the Role

Job Scope

• Coordinate façade detailing with architectural, reinforced concrete, structural, M&E, and other related trades.


• Review project specifications, construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions, and raise clarifications where required.


• Identify design discrepancies, constructability issues, and interface conflicts before fabrication and site installation.


• Monitor façade panel production, delivery, and installation to ensure activities are carried out according to the project programme.


• Manage day-to-day façade construction activities, including manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and site resources.


• Coordinate with consultants, façade RTOs, QP representatives, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams on technical and site matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture or a related built‑environment discipline.


• Educational and professional work background in Architecture is required.


• Approximately 6-8 years of relevant experience in façade design, architectural coordination, or façade construction is preferred.


• Experience with façade systems such as curtain walls, glazing, aluminium cladding, stone cladding, or other building-envelope systems.


• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, construction drawings, materials, and façade interfaces.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with BIM or Revit is preferred.


• Knowledge of structural analysis principles or relevant analysis software would be advantageous.


• Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.


• Strong technical review, problem‑solving, communication, and project‑coordination skills.


• Able to manage façade activities independently and deliver work according to project deadlines.
