Senior Expenditure Specialist: AP, Payments & Analytics

Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to act as the primary contact for divisions, guiding expenditure processes and resolving queries. You will review staff claims in our Claims app and SAP Concur, ensuring timely reimbursement and policy compliance.

You will also handle invoices and payments, perform month-end and year-end closings, analyze exceptions, and support system enhancements and audits. A proactive, detail-oriented, and independent candidate will excel here.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy with at least 3 years of relevant working experience, or Degree in Accountancy with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, finance operations or shared services is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; SAP and Concur experience is a plus.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and business partnering abilities.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key point of contact for assigned divisions and provide guidance on Expenditure-related processes and queries.
• Review and process employee claims in inhouse Claims app and SAP Concur, ensuring compliance and timely reimbursement.
• Process invoices and payments, including staff payment vouchers, telegraphic transfers and urgent payment requests, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, schedules and analyses.
• Review and analyse exceptions highlighted through Data Analytics reports and follow up on anomalies identified.
• Reconcile transactions and supporting records to ensure the accuracy of CAG's financial records.
• Support system enhancement initiatives, process reviews, UAT and automation projects to improve efficiency and controls.
• Assist audits, reporting requirements, and ad hoc finance-related activities as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
