Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Workplace Safety and Health, Engineering, Environmental Health, Science or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in Workplace Safety and Health, preferably within healthcare or complex operations.
• Registration as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM would be an advantage.
• Registration as a Fire Safety Manager with SCDF would be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and regulations, risk management and WSH systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, bizSAFE and other safety or quality management systems is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills across departments.
• Proactive, organized, meticulous with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with data/digital systems.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate workplace risk assessments and maintain the organisational risk register.

We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Department of the Eastern General Hospital (EGH) Planning Office. You will support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of EGH's WSH governance framework, policies, programmes and operational readiness initiatives. Working closely with internal departments, project teams, contractors and external stakeholders, you will support WSH operational readiness planning, including manpower, processes, systems, infrastructure and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating workplace risk assessments, maintaining the organisational risk register, conducting inspections and audits, supporting incident investigations, monitoring compliance with WSH regulations, and following up on corrective and preventive actions. You will also contribute to WSH training, communication and safety promotion initiatives, support WSH Committee activities and reporting, analyse safety performance indicators, and prepare reports for management. In addition, you will support emergency preparedness, occupational health, contractor safety programmes, and participate in audits, inspections, projects and readiness exercises to ensure EGH is well prepared for operationalisation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Workplace Safety and Health, Engineering, Environmental Health, Science or a related discipline

• Relevant experience in Workplace Safety and Health, preferably within the healthcare, facilities, or other complex operational environment

• Registration as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower would be an advantage

• Registration as a Fire Safety Manager with the Singapore Civil Defence Force would be an added advantage

• Familiarity with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and relevant regulations, risk management requirements and WSH management systems

• Knowledge of ISO 45001, bizSAFE and other safety or quality management systems would be advantageous

• Good analytical, report-writing, communication and presentation skills

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments and professional groups

• Proactive, organised and meticulous, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working with data and digital systems

• Experience in healthcare WSH or hospital operational readiness would be an advantage
