NHG Health is seeking a Senior Manager for Total Workplace Safety and Health at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. You will help lead the development and execution of the hospital's TWSH strategy to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for staff.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to monitor performance indicators, oversee resource planning, and drive continuous improvement in safety and health programmes across the hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; WSH-related degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience with supervisory experience.
• Public hospital experience and knowledge of hospital operations preferred.
• Leadership and organisational development experience; able to be a change agent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical, meticulous, process-oriented; translate goals into actionable plans.
• Strong leadership with track record of leading teams to achieve ambitious goals.
• Good organisational, coordination and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• MOM Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Partner with leadership to achieve department or hospital goals by monitoring performance indicators.
• Plan and review resource allocation (manpower and finances) to meet objectives.
• Develop and implement the TWSH framework focusing on health and staff protection.
• Lead the Workplace Safety and Health Council and Occupational Health Committee.
• Oversee planning and implementation of new TWSH projects from concept to execution.
• Evaluate programme effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead hospital projects as assigned.
• Participate in emergency planning and assist during incidents.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer.

Sr Manager, Total Workplace Safety and Health

Reporting to the Assistant Director/Director of Operations, the Manager will assist to lead, develop, and implement strategic plans, and provide operational oversight of the hospital’s Total Workplace Safety and Health (TWSH) management system, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for the hospital workforce.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the Assistant Director/Director to achieve the department or hospital’s goals effectively and efficiently by identifying in identifying, monitoring, communicating and reviewing the Department’s performance/outcome indicators.
• Plan and review the resource (i.e. manpower and financial) allocation strategically to meet competing objectives.
• Develop and Implement the TWSH Framework, with a stronger focus on Occupational Health and Staff Protection
• Lead the Secretariat for Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council and Occupational Health (OH) Committee
• Oversee the planning and implementation of new TWSH projects or programmes, from conceptualisation to execution.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of TWSH programmes and drive continuous improvement in the programme to ensure overall objectives are met.
• Lead and undertake any hospital projects assigned.
• Participate in emergency planning exercise and render support in any hospital emergency or incidents when required.
• Assist to carry out any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer.

Job Requirements

• Good Bachelor’s degree and above. Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) – related Degree and above would be preferred.
• At least 7-10 years of relevant working experience and supervisory experience .
• Work experience within a public hospital and knowledge of hospital operations would be preferred.
• Preferable to have training and working experience relating to Leadership and Organisational Development. We are looking for someone with the skillsets to be achange agent and also understand and work with complexities in a volatile and ambiguous environment.
• Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Critical and strategic thinker who is analytical, meticulous, process-oriented and capable of translating organisational goals into actionable strategies and plans.
• Good leadership skills, with track records of leading teams to achieve ambitious goals and objectives.
• Good organizational, coordination and project management skills.
• Ability to exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• MOM Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) is an advantage.
