Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore is seeking a Training Resources Coordinator to support training schools and centres within the Training Institute. You will coordinate resources, manage contracts, and act as liaison for training contracts, including sourcing manpower for exercises and attachments.

You will forecast resource needs, maintain training support packages, and ensure alignment across subunits while complying with procedures and audits.

Qualifications

  • Education in Resource Management, Training Coordination, Plans, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience coordinating training resources and activities, and/or managing the planning, utilisation, and administration of contracts.
  • Organised and meticulous.
  • Ability to track and manage multiple ongoing processes concurrently.
  • Strong system discipline in the fulfilment of routine procedures.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast and deconflict training resources in the annual work plan.
  • Update and manage training support packages.
  • Forecast and submit annual resource requirements across the Army.
  • Attend Training Area Coordination meetings and assist in ensuring training areas are cleared for the TI's utilisation when required.
  • Perform maintenance, preparation, and recovery of the physical fitness testing systems.
  • Manage booking and utilisation for training contracts, administer and process service reports and payment documents, provide analysis and feedback for contract variations or new contracts, and facilitate audits.
  • Coordinate and manage routine matters, including training publications, manpower support, and administrative planning.

What you will be working on:

What we are looking for:
  • Education in Resource Management, Training Coordination, Plans, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in coordinating training resources and activities, and/or managing the planning, utilisation, and administration of contracts is preferred
