Job summary

The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) in Singapore is seeking a Senior Executive/Deputy Manager in the Student Development (SDV) department to plan, facilitate and run student engagement and overseas learning experiences that holistically develop our students.

You will coordinate activities, manage budgets, lead overseas trips, work with vendors, and drive process improvements to support digitalisation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in student development, youth engagement or programme/event management.
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills, with a passion for engaging and developing youth.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, able to work across departments and with external partners.
• High attention to detail, with budget management and projection abilities.
• Adaptable and open to varied portfolios, including leading overseas trips, planning and processing.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Proficiency in Power BI/ analytics/ automation would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute student engagement activities, workshops, and community-based programmes that integrate learning experiences to holistically develop students.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver meaningful programmes and opportunities for students.
• Ensure smooth operations by handling logistics, communications, and stakeholder coordination for events and activities.
• Manage procurement, grants reporting and budgeting for programmes and activities.
• Drive systems and process improvements, including designing and automating processes to support digitalisation needs.
• Serve as trip leader for overseas exposure trips, accompanying and supervising students overseas, and overseeing trip planning and coordination with stakeholders and vendors.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to organise Overseas Exposure Programmes, obtaining quotations for airfares, accommodation and ground transport in compliance with procurement policies.
• Manage trip costings and related financial processes, including student subsidies computation, PSEA deductions, student co‑payments, overseas daily allowance computation and claims, as well as Statements of Account and post‑programme reporting.
