Job summary

Institute Of Technical Education (ITE) in Singapore seeks a Senior Executive/Deputy Manager in the Examinations Development Department to ensure quality and integrity of examinations. You will work with SMEs to manage test items, item banks, and exam paper development.

You will coordinate development, translation and updating of test items, assemble papers, and monitor usage to support reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good IT proficiency and the ability to learn digital assessment systems.
• Meticulous attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Familiarity with assessment design or educational assessment would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the administration and maintenance of test items, examination papers and related assessment materials for assigned disciplines or item banks.
• Coordinate the development, review, translation and updating of test items in collaboration with SMEs.
• Support SMEs in the development of high-quality assessments through effective item bank management and examination paper development.
• Assemble examination papers from approved test items, ensuring alignment with the Test Plans.
• Coordinate with SMEs and other stakeholders to ensure the timely development, review and readiness of examination papers.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure examination papers are accurate, complete, consistent and ready for administration.
• Monitor item usage and maintain item bank records to support the reliability, validity and security of assessments.
