Job summary

RENCI is seeking a Safety Manager to lead comprehensive safety management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance within our facilities in Singapore. You will conduct workplace inspections, develop and review safety policies, investigate incidents, and ensure adherence to Workplace Safety and Health regulations and best practices.

The role requires at least 2 years of safety management experience, with strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• OSHA certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in safety management.
• Solid knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Healthcare experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong English verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive safety management, risk assessment, and compliance oversight in the workplace.
• Perform inspections, develop safety policies, investigate incidents, ensure adherence to regulations.
• Coordinate and deliver safety induction programmes for new employees.
• Deliver safety training and awareness programmes for staff.
• Conduct internal safety audits and compliance reviews.

Job Responsibilities

This role involves comprehensive safety management, risk assessment, and compliance oversight within the workplace. You will conduct inspections, develop safety policies, investigate incidents, and ensure adherence to Workplace Safety and Health regulations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace and environmental inspections to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices


• Develop, implement, and review workplace safety policies, procedures, and protocols


• Investigate incidents, accidents, dangerous occurrences, and near-miss events


• Analyze safety data and reports to identify trends and recommend preventive measures


• Identify, assess, and evaluate workplace risks and hazards


• Develop and implement effective risk control measures


• Conduct safety induction programmes for new employees


• Deliver safety training and awareness programmes for staff


• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and statutory requirements


• Conduct internal safety audits, reviews, and compliance assessments


• Coordinate, develop and implement emergency response plans


• Provide secretariat support to safety-related Committees

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Facility / Operations Management or related field


• Relevant certification (eg. OSHA)


• At least 2 years of experience in safety management

• Experience in healthcare would be an advantage
