Job summary

OPERCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead workplace safety initiatives in Singapore. You will develop policies, conduct inspections, and investigate incidents to prevent recurrences.

You will perform risk assessments, implement controls, and maintain the Risk Assessment Register while organizing safety trainings for employees and contractors. Strong regulatory knowledge and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential hazards.
• Ensure proper implementation of control measures to manage identified risks.
• Maintain and update the Risk Assessment Register.
• Organize and conduct safety training sessions and toolbox meetings for employees and contractors.
• Promote a culture of safety through awareness campaigns and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure all workers are informed about emergency procedures and PPE usage.
• Ensure compliance with WSHA and other regulations; prepare safety reports for authorities.
• Act as liaison with regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
• Monitor and report safety performance indicators.

Safety Management
