Job summary

S. F. EXPRESS (SINGAPORE) PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Operations Specialist to implement SOPs, support quality initiatives and coordinate rollout of new logistics solutions in Singapore.

You will work with frontline operations, Product, Commercial and regional teams to ensure operational requirements are clearly communicated and executed. Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant experience in logistics, express delivery, warehousing, transportation, operational quality or process improvement.
• Experience in SOP implementation, operational training, quality control or new-service implementation.

Responsibilities

• Implement operational SOPs, work instructions and site-management standards across relevant locations.
• Conduct operational reviews, identify process gaps and follow up on corrective actions.
• Promote and support the use of quality-control tools and continuous-improvement methods.
• Provide ongoing operational support for existing products and coordinate the implementation of new products and service standards.
• Develop training materials and conduct operational training and coaching for frontline employees.
• Review customers’ customised operational requirements and coordinate appropriate implementation plans and control measures.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure service requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, implementation records and management reports.
• Support operational audits, incident reviews and other improvement projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant experience in logistics, express delivery, warehousing, transportation, operational quality or process improvement.
• Experience in SOP implementation, operational training, quality control or new-service implementation.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin, as the role requires regular communication, training and document review with English- and Mandarin-speaking internal and external stakeholders, including regional teams, headquarters and customers.
• Able to work independently and travel regularly to operational sites across Singapore.

Experience in process mapping, root-cause analysis, Lean, Six Sigma or other quality-management methodologies would be an advantage.
