Job summary

Pacific International Lines (PIL) invites proactive professionals to join our bunkering team in Singapore. You will plan, execute, and report bunker activities to ensure timely fuel supply for our vessels and assist daily procurement for the fleet.

You’ll consolidate reports and support process improvements with digital tools. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Supply Chain or Marine Engineering or a suitable CoC, with data analysis skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain or Marine Engineering or CoC with bunkering experience.
• Strong data analysis and Excel modelling skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report bunker activities for timely fuel supply.
• Daily planning/scheduling for Bunker-to-Stem operations.
• Assist Senior Manager in bunker procurement for the fleet.
• Consolidate daily reports and track CEO approvals.
• Prepare monthly reporting for inspections, disputes statistics, and status.
• Support process improvements using Tableau and Power Automate.
• Rostered weekly duty for Bunker Ops coordination.
• Assist in physical inspections during bunker operations.
• Coordinate freshwater test/analysis arrangements and follow-ups.
• Back up garbage, sludge disposal, and freshwater supply arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report bunker activities to ensure timely and cost-effective fuel supply for vessels.
• Perform planning/scheduling for Bunker-to-Stem on a daily basis.
• Assist the Senior Manager in daily Bunker procurement for the fleet.
• Consolidate daily reporting for Bunker stemmed and track approvals by CEO.
• Prepare monthly reporting for inspections/surveys, disputes statistics, and status.
• Support the Senior Manager in identifying and implementing Bunker process improvements using digital tools (Tableau, MS Flow/Power Automate, etc.).
• Support the Bunker Ops team in the smooth coordination of Bunker delivery operations by taking on a rostered weekly duty personnel role.
• Support the Bunker Ops team in conducting physical inspections during bunker operations.
• Be responsible for freshwater test/analysis arrangements and follow-ups.
• Act as a backup for garbage, sludge disposal, and freshwater supply arrangements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain or Marine Engineering with at least 5 years of maritime experience; or
• Marine Engineering CoC 5 and above with shipboard bunkering experience.
• Good Excel modelling and data analysis capabilities.
• Basic proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Procurement and supply chain knowledge.
