Job summary

SG E-MARINE PTE. LTD. is seeking a motivated Bunker Trader to develop and manage bunker inquiries, build strong customer and supplier relationships, and identify trading opportunities in Singapore and regional markets.

The role focuses on trading marine fuels such as VLSFO, HSFO, MGO and biofuel blends, with emphasis on profitable execution and timely deliveries. Excellent communication and independent work ethic are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience in bunker trading, marine fuel supply, oil trading or maritime industry.
• Good understanding of marine fuel products, bunker pricing mechanisms and physical bunker supply operations.
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and ability to identify profitable trading opportunities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, results-oriented and capable of working independently in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Able to work under pressure and respond to market developments and customer requirements promptly.

Responsibilities

• Bunker Trading: Actively market and trade marine fuels across Singapore and regional bunker markets.
• Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding and maintaining a portfolio of shipowners, operators, charterers and bunker buyers.
• Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with physical bunker suppliers, oil majors, traders and other market participants.
• Pricing & Negotiation: Source competitive bunker prices, negotiate commercial terms and execute profitable bunker supply transactions.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor bunker prices, crude oil movements, supply-demand fundamentals and market developments to identify trading opportunities.
• Trade Execution: Coordinate with suppliers, customers, operations and finance teams for smooth bunker deliveries.
• Customer Relationship Management: Provide timely market updates, quotations and commercial support to customers.
