Job summary

Pacific International Lines (PTE) Ltd in Singapore seeks a capable Freight Forwarding Coordinator to oversee end-to-end import/export shipments across all modes from Singapore. You will coordinate bookings, tracking, and documentation, ensuring SOP compliance and accurate costings.

You will liaise with internal teams and external partners, support key accounts with RFQs/RFIs, and ensure timely billing and file closure. Strong communication and 2–3 years in freight forwarding preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics/Shipping or related discipline (required).
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in freight forwarding/import-export operations.
• Familiar with Incoterms and end-to-end import/export processes and compliant shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end import/export shipments across all modes (air, sea, rail, multimodal).
• Manage bookings, pre-alerts and shipment tracking; provide timely status updates to customers.
• Prepare and issue accurate shipping documents (S/I, B/L, DO, permits, LC documents) per SOPs.
• Resolve operational issues and exceptions (DG, OOG, discrepancies) and escalate when required.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Support key accounts: manage enquiries/quotations (RFQs/RFIs) and SOP updates.
• Ensure billing accuracy and close shipment files with validated costings.

Job Summary

You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end freight forwarding operations for import/export shipments across all modes (FCL, LCL, rail, sea, air, multimodal), ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with SOPs, and timely execution through effective coordination with internal teams, customers, and external partners. Support assigned organic key accounts by managing shipment exceptions, quotations and RFQs/RFIs, SOP updates, and shipment file closure with validated costings

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end import/export shipments across all modes (air, sea FCL/LCL, rail, road, multimodal).
• Manage bookings, pre-alerts and shipment tracking; provide timely status updates to customers.
• Prepare and issue accurate shipping documents (e.g., S/I, B/L, DO, permits, LC documents) in line with SOPs.
• Resolve operational issues and exceptions (e.g., DG, OOG, short/over-landed, damages, discrepancies) and elevate when required.
• Liaise with internal teams (BD, Finance, CL, etc.) and external stakeholders (agents, carriers, co-loaders, transporters, POL/POD offices) to ensure smooth execution.
• Support key accounts and organic customers: manage enquiries/quotations (RFQs/RFIs), maintain SOPs, and handle new requests/customer set-ups.
• Ensure billing accuracy (customer invoicing and vendor charges), validate costings, close shipment files and maintain complete records/filing.

Job Requirements

• Good understanding of freight forwarding operations and supply chain processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work effectively with people at all levels.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry (import/export operations).
