Job summary

Multi Wealth (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage full accounting functions for a portfolio of property development entities.

You will deliver accurate financial statements, oversee month-end closes, and support audits with external auditors. The ideal candidate has a CPA or equivalent, a bachelor’s in accounting/finance, at least 5 years in real estate accounting, strong IFRS knowledge, and hands-on experience with Yardi and IFCA.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle tasks including AP, AR, payments, GL, fixed assets, CAPEX, month-end, and tax matters for assigned companies.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Consolidate data into Group Budget and monthly closing templates for consistency.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, intercompany balances, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Support audit preparation by compiling audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and KPIs to report on financial health.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with IT to implement system enhancements improving processes.
• Partner with Operations to address operational financial matters.
• Adapt to ad hoc duties as needed.

Job Summary

You will manage comprehensive accounting functions and financial reporting for a portfolio of companies within the property development sector, delivering accurate financial insights and supporting audits to drive informed business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Execute full accounting cycle tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payments processing, general ledger maintenance, fixed assets, CAPEX, month-end closing, and tax matters for assigned companies
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to provide timely, accurate financial insights to management
• Consolidate and translate financial data into Group Budget and monthly closing templates to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, intercompany balances, journal entries, and supporting schedules to maintain financial integrity
• Support audit preparation by compiling audit schedules and liaising with external auditors during annual audits
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and key financial performance indicators to assess and report on the organization’s financial health
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies to uphold governance standards
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement system enhancements that improve financial processes
• Partner with Operations teams to address operational financial matters and support business activities
• Adapt to ad hoc duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Strong knowledge and application of IFRS accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems such as Yardi and IFCA
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
• Ability to analyze financial data and deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial information clearly
• Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent professional certification (preferred but not mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in full sets of accounts and financial reporting within the property development or real estate industry
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and high accuracy
• Commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to changing business needs
