Job summary

ST Logistics, based in Singapore, is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage timely and accurate freight invoicing and support month-end closures. The role focuses on monitoring KPIs, driving automation, and validating system-driven billing decisions, with opportunities to enhance processes and implement digital solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in business/finance or information systems, has ERP experience (Sys Freight, SAP Hana), and can handle large monthly transaction

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, IS or related discipline.
• Experience in freight forwarding, billing, automation or system implementation.
• ERP such as Sys Freight and SAP Hana.
• Experience handling large volumes monthly.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform OT when required.
• Work location at 60 Pioneer Road, Tuas.
• Work days: Monday–Friday, 8am–5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate billing for Freight shipments.
• Support timely month-end billing closure and preparation of monthly reports.
• Monitor billing accuracy, outstanding jobs and billing KPIs.
• Enthusiasm in digitalisation, AI, projects and system enhancements implementation.
• Support the development and implementation of automated billing for Freight.
• Assist in developing automated checks between shipment/job information, customer rate tables, quotations and supporting documents.
• Identify billing activities suitable for automation, system validation or exception-based processing.
• Participate in testing of automation solutions and system enhancements, including preparation of test scenarios and UAT.
• Validate system-generated billing recommendations and investigate exceptions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual intervention, billing errors and turnaround time.
• Other ad-hoc duties, as assigned.

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

• Diploma/ Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information systems or a related discipline
• Candidates with other tertiary qualifications but strong relevant experience in freight forwarding, billing, automation or system implementation will also be considered
• ERP such as Sys Freight and SAP Hana
• Preferred candidate with experience in handling large volume of transaction monthly.
• Able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Able to do OT as and when required.
• Work location at 60 pioneer Road, Tuas
• Work days & hours : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm
