About the Opportunity

As a Senior Events Manager, you'll be the mastermind behind unforgettable meetings and events for corporate clients, managing everything from sourcing and budgeting to onsite execution. You'll juggle clients, suppliers, budgets, and logistics with confidence, creativity, and just the right amount of flair while building lasting relationships that drive repeat business.

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced MICE professional, a relationship builder with a strong industry network who is ready to make a real impact in a highly visible role and thrive in a fast and dynamic environment.

What You Will Do
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and be their go-to problem solver
  • Work closely with clients to research and recommend venues that tick all the boxes
  • Prepare and manage budgets, keeping clients informed every step of the way
  • Negotiate supplier contracts like a champion to deliver outstanding value while hitting revenue targets
  • Coordinate with Group Travel Consultants to manage group air travel and ensure accurate manifests
  • Bring programs to life by managing every detail—room setups, décor, entertainment, AV, menus, transportation, DMC operations, and offsite experiences
  • Track and manage hotel and vendor attrition, cancellation and deposit schedules
  • Own program data and registration management, ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Provide onsite support—attend pre-cons, advance functions, manage VIP needs, and keep things running seamlessly
  • Review supplier bills for accuracy, ensure timely payment and perform post-event reconciliation
  • Stay ahead of trends with fresh destinations, seasonal deals, and "hot date" opportunities
  • Manage to FCM M&E Standard Operating Procedures and Service Level Agreement metrics
Who We're Looking For
  • 5–8+ years' experience in MICE industry handling corporate MICE groups end-to-end
  • TMC experience and strength in managing incentives would be an advantage
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills with a well-established network across DMCs, vendors, hoteliers, and transporters
  • Highly sophisticated communication skills—proficient in written and verbal communications
  • Good product knowledge on destinations and MICE group operations
  • Comfortable traveling with senior executives and premium groups
  • Reasonably travelled with strong destination knowledge
  • Self-motivated, independent, highly-organized with strong interpersonal skills and hunger for success
  • Ability to successfully deliver in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Able to multi-task, work independently, and communicate effectively
  • A passion for travel and the travel industry
